Kristoph, where do you live? I'd like to help you find a LGBT group, if you're still looking for one (I know this post is pretty old).
I'm in the San Francisco, CA area, and I know there are A LOT of resources around for FTMs and trans people in general. I'm relatively new to the trans scene, partially because I've been trying to figure out if I'm FTM or genderqueer. The last time I went to a FTM meeting was a couple months ago now, but I also attended a group for transgendered folks in general about 3 years ago. I left the general trans group for a couple reasons, the two main ones being that I didn't have a car and the meetings were at night, and because that group was usually attended by MTFs, who I couldn't relate to on some important levels. They weren't unlikable people, but I wasn't getting what I needed. The FTM-specific group served to meet my needs better, but I said something during what would be my last meeting, that someone else took as gaybashing. I didn't get a chance to explain that I didn't mean what I said in that way, so I figured, "Why go to a group where I don't feel heard? F this."
